CLV450 description

he CLV450 is a big product in an extremely small package. With a reading range from 6 to 62 inches and a user-selectable scan rate from 400 to 1000 Hz, it is easily the most powerful scanner in its class. Our patented SMART technology (SICK’s Modular Advanced Recognition Technology) enables the CLV450 to read damaged, tilted, partially hidden or dirty bar codes. It can read bar codes other scanners can not.

Dynamic focus control allows the CLV 450 to accommodate a large depth of field by dynamically adjusting its focus position to the object distance. This makes the CLV 450 a perfect choice for applications where bar codes will be affixed to objects of varying heights.

The Windows™-based CLV Setup Software allows users to select and define all parameters - minimum reading distance, bar code resolution, scan frequency, bar code label specifications and data format. The CLV 450 is ideally suited for applications in the packaging, material handling, automotive and distribution industries.
